Head Instructor Floyd Coons
Floyd is a certified NRA Instructor in Home Defense, Basic Firearms, and Black
Powder. He also Teaches Hunter Education for the Department Of Wildlife for
the State of Nevada.
Recognized as the Hunter Educator of the Year for 1996 (Federal Recognition) for the State of Nevada. He serves on advisory
team to evaluate what is served up to Hunter Education students for the State Of Nevada. (NDOW)
Commercial Reloader of ammunition from 1982 through 1991.
Opened Masters Shooter Supply in September 1990. Began private courses
in 1993 in the art of self-defense using a variety of firearms, primarily
pistols and shotguns. Since then Floyd has trained more than 900
families in home defense and Conceal Carry.
Floyd was born May 1941. Graduated June 1959 from Clover Park High School. Continued
education in Aviation and graduated as a technically certified Airframe
And Powerplant Mechanic with Commercial Pilot Training June 1962 from
Clover Park Vocational Education Department. Associate Arts degree
from Olympic Collage in Bremerton, Washington 1964.
Floyd also flew commercial airliners and was a Aircraft Mechanic for West Coast Airlines November 1968 through
May 1982. He is now retired from Northwest Airlines.
